Customer Testimonials

John and I thank you for giving us a beautiful kitchen after 39 years.  The beautiful granite work turned out to be the highlight of our kitchen.  It was a wonderful team effort.  I can't believe you lived up to your promise, only 1 week, almost impossible.  I'm speechless.

QSC's Warrany

LIMITED WARRANTY

Granite has been in existence for thousands of years, but only in the past few decades has it been a viable alternative for kitchen and bath countertops. The cost of production, coupled with the lack of any type of warranty had prevented granite countertops from being universally accepted. In 2009 Quality Stone Concepts would like to introduce its 5-year limited warranty.

GENERAL WARRANTY GUIDELINES
Your Quality Stone Concepts granite countertop is backed by our 5-year limited warranty. Details of the warranty are below, but the guiding principle of the warranty is as follows: “If there is something we didn’t do correctly when we fabricated your granite/solid surface countertop and that fabrication deficiency causes you a problem with your countertop, we will correct the problem and stand behind our product. Period.”

WARRANTY TERMS
Quality Stone Concepts warrants to the owner of a Quality Stone Concepts granite counter top, at its option will repair or replace, without charge, the countertop piece if it fails due to any fabrication defect during the first 5 (five) years after initial installation, except for damage caused by chemical or physical use or abuse. This warranty does not cover granite countertops that have been moved from their original installed location, and it does not cover natural characteristics of the stone, which include, but are not limited to, color variations, water lines or surface marks. This warranty also does not cover damage to your countertop caused by items out of our control, such as house settlement, fires, tornados or other acts of nature.

Quality Stone Concepts obligation is limited solely to the repair or replacement, including required labor charges, or the Quality Stone Concepts countertop piece in question.

No implied or expressed warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose is covered by this warranty except as expressly stated herein. Quality Stone Concepts shall not be liable for any loss or direct, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use your Quality Stone Concepts countertop.

Buying Granite Countertops in a Down Market

Virginia Beach, Virginia - Anyone reading the business section of most newspapers will note that there is no shortage of bad news, however, there are a few emerging trends that can benefit most consumers looking to update their kitchens or bathrooms.

As we all know, overall unemployment is up, spending is down and most companies are looking at cutting costs any way possible. In the granite business, I’m noticing that overall inventory levels of my suppliers/importers are shrinking. As a consumer, this doesn’t mean that there are fewer choices available, but it does mean that a supplier will entertain creative ways to liquidate their inventory and bring levels to a more manageable level.
